Direction & Leadership

Peter Field. Managing Director

With more than 40 years’ experience in the building industry of which 32 years were spent on the front line management positions, Peter Field has personally supervised and managed most forms of residential, commercial construction and civil projects.

Prior to establishing Field Constructions, Peter held positions of Estimator and Construction Manager with firms in commercial, industrial and civil works.

During this period some 74 projects ranging in value were completed under his Management for a well-established construction and Civil Engineering firms.

Peter readily admits he is a stickler for detail and has implemented a company policy that elevates clear and concise paperwork to being a Smart Managing practice, especially with today’s high expectations of managed and recorded quality and safety compliances, rather than a necessary consequence of the job.

With his family name on the line, Peter Field maintains a constant presence in the management of all construction projects while surrounding himself with qualified, experienced and talented personnel especially when completing design and construct projects.

Peter, has completed for his company many significant projects with a geographical spread and in the last year has settled into Coffs Harbour area in a more consolidated form and to continue the business with his immediate family in a downsized scale, however selecting clients and projects which reflect our experience and demand his direct interest and involvement, delivering whether it be a renovation, extension or a commercial project which also may need design input and good solid all-round experience. 

With the level of background we have experienced as a Building company we are equipped to meet any size or type of project in all regards and look forward to meeting clients which seek our services for what we have to offer.
